Hacienda Zorita Natural Reserve wines are recognized with MARCA NATURALTM official regional certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (sustainable agriculture and traditional products area). Our winery and vineyards are located in Fermoselle, in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. Largest protected natural area in Europe with 106,105 ha of vineyards and olive trees. Rocky area with a predominance of granite rock and clay soils. Although the rainfall in the area is abundant, the land is unable to retain it due to the low thickness of the land.
Elaboration
Made from grape varieties of
the farm, harvested by hand in 12 kg boxes at their optimum ripening time and after selecting the fruits in perfect condition.
The vineyard has drip irrigation with automatic fertilization. With a Smart Dyson conduction system, designed by Richard Smart, a leading Australian winemaker who advised on the plantation A wine made over the years of exceptional quality. Aged for 18 months in new medium-toasted Allier French oak barrels.
