This 2021 campaign in Rioja has stood out especially for its health, without problems of powdery mildew or mildew despite occasional episodes of hail and torrential rains in June, and a good relationship in vigor and yield.

The vegetative stoppage of the vineyard took place at the ideal time of the cycle, at the beginning of August, beginning with veraison without heat waves and with a good difference in temperatures between night and day, especially since this situation lasted over time. , in such a way that the vine has had total disposal of the vegetation so that the fruit develops its ripening parameters, and for this reason, a high alcoholic and polyphenolic potential has been obtained, ideal for the quality aging of its wines.

After a very dry and slightly cold winter, a somewhat cold spring followed, but also without rain, budding was not early, but intense despite the drought, due to the reserve of water in the deep soils.

The summer was dry, with moderate temperatures, with a hot tip at the beginning. This favored the fact that the clusters that were very abundant remained small and the grains grew very slowly.

The 2021 vintage aims to obtain wines with high expectations, they are wines with a very vivid color, with high concentration, balanced, fresh, with lots of fruit, ripe tannins and structure, which will undoubtedly improve during the aging process in cask.
