Don José Abascal (1743-1821) was crowned Marquis of Concord in Peru in 1812 by King Ferdinand VII of Spain, and recognized for his personal merits in the XXIV Viceroyalty of Peru (1806-1816). He was a man of his time (The Enlightenment), an intellectual from the army who carried out an important public work in Peru. He also pursued a reform in society and an advancement of knowledge in the vast territory and cities that he governed in the name of the King, making the Creoles and the metropolitan Spaniards work together. That's where the word "Concordia" comes from in its title.
Elaboration
The most special white wine from Rioja. A unique, obtained from an albino variety of Tempranillo grape. Calcareous clay with a high proportion of limestone, shallow. The boulders and gravels that provide good drainage and good water retention.
This wine has been made with white grapes of the Tempranillo variety, belonging to a new vineyard in Rioja. Cold maceration with the must in contact with its lees during the first days. The average temperature during fermentation was 18º C.
Food match
Pairs well with goat cheese, beef, mixed vegetables, pesto sauce, melon, and citrus.

Pale yellow with some green tones.

Very intense in primary aromas of white fruit, apple and banana, with a final touch of citrus.

On the palate, it is well structured with balanced acidity and a long and intense finish.
