Hacienda Zorita Natural Reserve wines are recognized with MARCA NATURALTM official regional certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (sustainable agriculture and traditional products area). Our winery and vineyards are located in Fermoselle, in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. Largest protected natural area in Europe with 106,105 ha of vineyards and olive trees. Rocky area with a predominance of granite rock and clay soils. Although the rainfall in the area is abundant, the land is unable to retain it due to the low thickness of the land.
Elaboration
Manual harvest in 12 kg box, selection of clusters on the table and loading of the same destemmed by gravity system.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks of 15,000 liters, with automatic temperature control without exceeding 26oC. 15 months in French oak barrels.
Food match
Ideal with roast meats, stews and Iberian meats.
